HIFU Body Lipolysis

Which areas of the body can be treated with HIFU Body Lipolysis?

The treatment is effective in many areas; Stomach, Inner and Outer Thighs, Back, Love Handles and Upper Arms; to name but a few - providing there is over 2.5 cm of fat.

What happens to the body fat that HIFU Body Lipolysis removes?

The body naturally removes the destroyed fat cells via your liver and through your natural lymphatic system in a period of a few weeks post treatment, leaving you, in the treated area, with a more contoured, defined, thinner and tightened skin.

Will the fat that has been treated return?

No, the fat cells will not regenerate because adults have limited number of fat cells.  The remaining fat cells in the area can still expand and contract, depending on many factors including, diet, exercise, genetics, age and use of medications.

Is the treatment painful?

Most Clients, but not all, experience tingling, prickling and heat but these vary and depend on fat thickness and the area being treated. Some areas are not sensitive at all. Generally there is minimal pain during this treatments but as we are all individual, we do advise our clients to expect more discomfort as the treatment destroys fat cells and thus generates heat.

Is HIFU Body Lipolysis a good treatment for a small amount of excess fat?

For HIFU Body Lipolysis, Clients must have a minimum of over 2.5 cm of fat -pinchable or grabbable.

If you are lucky enough to have less, then your fat layer will be rather thin and the programmed treatment depth will treat other tissues and not fat. Prior to the treatment, the body areas will be examined, measured and a customised treatment plan established to ensure it is safe and suitable for you to have the treatment.

What are the main contraindications for HIFI Body Lipolysis?

Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding cannot undergo this treatment. You must also be of 18 years of age. In addition, you cannot have a hernia of any kind, skin infections or conditions, recent surgery or scar tissue or wounds in the treatment areas.

If I want to obtain additional fat removal, can I have a second treatment session?

Most clients see significant improvements with only one treatment.  To allow the treatment to fulfil its maximum potential, we do not recommend another treatment for at least 6 months.  The second treatment can be customised for better overall results and ensure you have received the maximum improvements from your initial treatment before proceeding with another in the same area.

Can I resume my normal activity straight after the treatment?

There is no downtime procedure for body fat reduction and there is no need to take time off work or stop your usual regime. We do recommend to take care straight after the procedure and of course not to consume any toxins, caffeine, alcohol and cigarettes and drink plenty of water after the procedure.  .

What side-effects can I expect after treatment?

After your treatment, your skin may appear slightly red in areas and this will disappear within 24 hours.

10. How much can I expect to lose from a single treatment?

On average, clients lose up to an inch around the waist and this may mean dropping a dress size.
